About Me
My Journey to becoming an airline pilot
Welcome to Pilot Powling. Follow my journey to becoming an airline pilot. I commenced my training with L3Harris airline academy on 27th January 2020, and successfully completed ground school with 14 first time passes and an average of 86%, passed both my U.K. CAA and IAA EASA commercial pilots licence exam and multi-engine instrument rating exam with first series first attempt passes!
Since completing my flight training, I have secured employment with Ryanair where I am type rated to fly the Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-MAX across the skies of Europe.
I’ve published my experiences of my flight training to provide an insight to potential future pilots, and for my friends and family to see what I’m up to while training and what stage I am currently at. I plan to continue this throughout my employment for people to gain an insight into life in the flight deck as a commercial airline pilot.
